So um, I've been promoted to HOS (head of store), and well, it's temporary, but it's cool.

We'll see if I end up getting a permanent store (in November!!! <-- aka.. HOLIDAY)

Ok... so for some WEIRD reason... I keep thinking I'm still 24. Like, I know I'm 29, and I say it aloud that I'm 29... and I have lived through the late 70's, popped through the 80's, hiphopped through the 90's and am in the 00's... but I still sometime forget that i'm not 29 and think I'm 24.

This is mostly when I look at lotto results and '24' is one of the numbers and I think, 'rats! if I had just put my age down, I would've gotten that number!'

I'm sure it's very bittersweet for my parents.. they're relieved and sad at the same time.

It's not that they don't WANT to work anymore.. but more they don't have to and can finally RELAX... which can't be easier, either, coz it kinda hits home that they're getting older.

now... what will my idiot brother do? I don't care. As long as he doesn't hit me up for a job. HA!

I don't have a lot of time, but here is a quick update of what's been happening in my life lately:

* tonite, I actually only had to work one job.... the one that's my career.
* I am having my first actual alcoholic drink: smirnoff twisted: raspberry. I've had one sip. I think I'm getting drunk.
* I cooked for the first time in three weeks (sapporo noodles don't count!)!!!! I call it poop soup coz it's so full of veggies and whatnot, it guarentees a good bowel cleaning (tmi? too bad). It's chicken/veggie/rice soup from SCRATCH! YUM!
* Ewan is in need of time outs. He cries a lot and pinches. not fun.
* My first TRUE day off will be next Saturday... the 31st... my birthday.
* I did not win the 6/49. Someone in Vancouver won $208,000+ though. Why couldn't that someone be me?
* My brother is still an asshole.
